We will be doing Marion Scoular's Pulled Stitches Clover Group Correspondence Course (the chapter will pick up the teaching fee for each Dayton EGA member who wants to participate). The only cost to members will be the Text Fee, mailing, and supplies (linen and pearl cotton). We will Zoom this in the evenings. Registration is now closed and the GCC is full. The GCC will continue through June/July 2025.
We will be doing Chottie's Blackwork Sampler as an ongoing monthly program for 2025. Two bands are being released on the first of each month, beginning with January 2025, with individualization encouraged. A supply list with a stitch count and dimensions were sent in December 2024, and can be done on Congress cloth or linen, using DMC cotton and a Kreinik (or other) gold braid. This is free to all Dayton EGA members--except for materials.
We will continue our quarterly Sunday afternoon Stitch-a-Longs. February 9 (postponed from January), April 6, July 6, and October 5, 2025 from 2-4 PM Eastern Time via Zoom.
Our Metal Threads SIG (Special Interest Group) meets via Zoom the first Monday of each month at 7 PM Eastern Time. Our next meeting is on March 3, when we will begin "The Last Leaf" with Marylyn Doyle. The Zoom invitation goes out the Saturday before we meet.
Our Cincinnati Satellite has regular stitch-ins scheduled for the first Tuesday of each month, in their usual place--the Centennial Room in the Madeira Municipal Building, 7141 Miami Ave., Cincinnati. Stitch-ins begin at Noon and end around 2 PM or so, Eastern Time. The dates for 2025 are as follows: February 4, March 4, April 1, May 6, June 3, July 1, August 5, September 2, October 7, November 4, and December 2.
